The Review Process

Five steps from evidence to insight.

SchoolScan™ follows a structured review process designed to be clear, repeatable, and grounded in the evidence your school already collects.

01

Evidence Submission

Your school submits existing walkthrough data, observation records, and evaluation evidence. This can include Danielson scores, TNTP Core Teaching Rubric data, Marzano ratings, district-adapted rubrics, or structured walkthrough exports.

SchoolScan™ works with whatever your school already uses. There is no new tool to adopt and no additional data collection required.

02

Instructional Pattern Review

SchoolScan™ reviews the submitted evidence for instructional and organizational patterns across classrooms, evaluation cycles, and leadership focus areas.

This is not a compliance check or a score summary. The review looks at how instruction is distributed across your building, where implementation is consistent, where it varies, and what the trajectory looks like over time.

03

Gap Identification

Leadership trends and implementation gaps are identified. This includes areas where walkthrough focus may be misaligned with evaluation evidence, where coaching priorities do not match observed patterns, and where instructional consistency breaks down between classrooms or cycles.

The goal is to surface what the data has been showing but leadership has not yet been positioned to see.

04

Leadership Insight Report

Your school receives a structured written report with findings, pattern analysis, and strategic recommendations. The report is designed for leadership use, not for compliance filing.

It identifies where instructional consistency exists, where implementation is declining, and where leadership attention would have the greatest impact on student outcomes.

05

Strategic Debrief Session

Your leadership team participates in a facilitated debrief to walk through the findings, ask questions, and determine next steps. This is an analytical conversation, not a presentation.

The debrief is designed to help your team interpret the findings in the context of your school's priorities and decide where to focus first.

Engagement Options

Three levels of review, matched to your needs.

Every engagement follows the same five-step process. The scope and depth vary based on the size and complexity of the review.
